So without further ado, we're off to...
The moderate winter climate and off-season dates mean that we won’t be sweating profusely because of the sun or unruly hordes of fanny-pack-wearing tourists, and the subsequent low-season riad prices and great flight deal we found meant that we won’t have to break the bank to make the trek to the North African kingdom.
Right now, all we know is that we’ll hit up Casablanca, Fes, and Marrakech and will, I think I can safely say, eat our weight in couscous and kabobs. I can also safely say that I plan on listening to “Que Sera Sera” at least once daily until we depart. (I mean, how good is The Man Who Knew Too Much? Hitchcock, Stewart, Doris Day’s little ditty, and Morocco? Whoa Nelly.) But until that time, we’ll dig deeper to come up with a list of must-sees, must-eats, and must-buys-in-the-souks.
I’ll share what I learn on those counts here, and will also be back to tell you how we were able to come in under budget for this trip!
